Yea, you can roll race any car. You could roll race with a CVT transmission but it wouldnt be ideal because you dont even have any control over your transmission. But the reason i like a 6 speed for roll racing is because shifting can make/break a street race. It doesnt take a whole lot of skill to shift a car but it does take a little bit more skill not to miss a shift on the fly and to make quick shifts. But you can roll race an auto with manual valvebody...just one less pedal to worry about and no missed shifts.

i think any stick driver would be offended by that...driving stick well is a talent..
and when you put an auto in a car to make it a "better track car" i think ur missing the point...yea auto is more consistant, but track or street it should be about having fun, i personally dont see the fun in racing a car down a strip thats automatic, but that could just be me...when you have 2 manual cars with the same build you can have two completely different outcomes, its a drivers race...if you have 2 auto cars with the same build, its a matter of who puts their foot on the pedal first, what fun is that

<--- this has nothing to do with anything, i just like him lol

i drive a manual trans car every day and im not offended by it.... and i guess i dont see whats so different when it comes to drag racing.... auto or manual you still have to shift if youre using a manual valve body....the only difference is not having a clutch.... my girlfriend hopped into my amigo and drove it around the block her first time ever driving a stick car and didnt stall it once...its not that hard... the auto takes away the risk of missing shifts, and takes away some of the drivetrain shock that breaks parts...also is more consistent for people who enjoy bracket racing

im not saying a stick car isnt fun to drive...but for drag racing the auto, imo, is more efficient

i see your point about it being a drivers race between two identical cars...but really, how often are you up against a 100% identical car? hell it would be cheaper to get two bone stock cars of the same year/make/model with sticks and just race those if that was your thing.... theres more to racing than pressing a peddel or shifting with a clutch... building your car to hook better, making more power, tires and tire pressure, staying in the groove and knowing when to lift, adrenaline of going down the track....theres much much more to it than just shifting

LOL، I'll post pics as soon as I get the car.
Not being rude guys but the Vettes are fast as hell! And sexy too! It's like Tupac's "All Eyes On Me"
Who would notice a Mustang while there's a bad *** Z06، C6 or even the mighty ZR1 beside you? Sorry had to say it.. Just my HO؛ I mean Stangs are bad *** too! But don't compare it to a corssed flags car.
Hope you guys doesn't kick me outta forums leWl!!
