A C4 is an automatic transmission that's usually built for high powered engines. I think it has 3 speeds...without overdive, but I'm not sure.

Well depends on if its gonna be a track car or just a SICK cruiser . If its gonna be a track car mostly then id say stick with the C4, but if its a fun cruiser then id go for the manual.

the stock auto trans in these cars is gayness, but a c4 behind a mod motor is full of win

manual valve body, nice converter, and a ratchet shifter would make for a fun car

Car built for the track=C4...car built for the street that can hit the track=6 speed. None of this 5 speed BS...6 speed is the way to go.
