Im happy as hell man, The Mustang will finally be getting its ***** back in a way you know. Just be happy with what you got, your car looks sick. A Mustang is a Mustang and everybody that dogs on them wishes they had one, even the 400hp future dd Honda owners that cant afford the 800hp future dd Mustang Owners haha.

I wonder what the suspension set up, diff gears, and wheel width will look like? Is that 400rwhp or at the flywheel?

i would say we're peaking in the HP dept. for "affordable" cars....sure theres always going to be a bigger badder supercar or top of line shelby zr1 etc etc...but i wouldnt be surprised if we level off right about now...i dont think we will ever see a 500-600hp $25k mustang gt... especially with all the upcoming gas mileage restrictions etc...hell GM was saying for awhile that the ZR1 is the most powerful car they have made and that it will be the most powerful car they ever make in the future, because of environmental reasons....

i doubt thats true, im sure they will put out something bigger and badder....but the ideas are out there floating around...they wont keep moving until the cars are unstreetable for your average house wife

ive thought about that, but there are a few problems. 1. if it rains a crotch rocket is not the ideal place to be, altho a 700 hp mustang wont be the best choice, a streetable one you can at least drive carfully without getting wet. 2. you can have passengers and go fast, even your 100# girlfriend would slow down a bike by a lot, not to mention way more unsafe than being by yourself. 3. you have to wear a stupid amount of gear, or your dumb and you only wear a helmet, at least when i get out of my car i can look just as good as when im in it. 4. ive seen plenty of 10 second bikes with 12 second drivers on them. then again i guess that qualifys for cars as well. 5. light to light, a DR simple SC mustang would probebly take most bikes, takes crazy skill and alot of ***** to lauch a bike.. shall i keep going? lol plus im to lazy to get a licence for one, and if ima spend 6-12k on somthing it would be on my car not a bike anyway. but to each his own, bikes are still sexy.

well efficent stuff is why power keeps going up, new untapped technology mixed with same old muscle makes a **** ton of power. i mean hell take for example the new 5.0 400 hp 5L and im guessing bolt ons and a tune will put it near 450 or 500, but the 428CJ of the late 60s was rated at i think 375 hp, of course im sure it was more than that but your talking about the new 5.0 being more reliable better emissions and gas milage and a full what 2L smaller? it will only keep going up, or the engines will start getting smaller to control the power.
