Ran car low on oil. made some sort of chatter sound then went away. been driving it for months now car started to make chatter sound then just died i restarted it thn it ran fine. on the way home it made the chatter sound then died, and now wont restart it turns over then immediatly dies. Originally thought it was a rod bearing but kinda ruled it out since it wasnt always chattering, some one had told me that it could be bad timming chain tensioners. Im hopping its that. But would a bad rod bearing make it not start.
