This brings me to another thing....everytime you end up grinding the gears...aren't small metal particles being sheered off the gears and mixed in the oil? Wouldn't the metal fragments circulate with the tranny fluid?

I used to do it all the time. lol powershifting with street tires and 3.27 gears=fun...powershifting with 4.10's and street tires=retarded. lol I spun 4th gear with street tires and powershifting at 5200. Also you have to watch where your rpm's are at when you powershift. When i powershift, i usually move my shifts about 200-400rpm's lower than usual shifts. I tried powershifting at redline and then tried it at 5200 and i got more spin when i shifted at 5200 so my guess would be i would be better off shifting earlier when you have sticky tires on.

I just feel like unless you have the funds to replace something if it breaks it's not worth doing.

Poweshifting is fun! I love it but I only do it once in a gret while. I never grined a gear, maybe cuz I did it fearlessly. I just said "screw it, im goin for it!"

I wont do it. My T-45 is grumpy enough, I don't need to add to it any.

JC I completely agree with you lol. Just learn how to shift quick, no need to break things just master that pedal on the left!
