Procharger Red Race Valve

Procharger Red Race Valve
At what point is it needed to upgrade from the given ProFlo bypass valve to the race valve or other type of valve such as Vortech mini-race?
I called Procharger and he said usually he tells people to around 550-600rwhp or 14-15lbs of boost. If anyone knows from experience, it would be pretty helpful as I do not want to buy a new one haha.
I'm shooting for 600rwhp or so and am guesstimating around 18psi.

I would say after 10psi its a good idea to scrap the stock valve that comes with the kit. Lose the bird chirp and get that nice woosh sound along with saving your blower from serious damage when running lots of boost.

I'm not saying the stock one won't work higher than 10psi. The faster you can relieve the boost pressure from your piping the better. A bigger BPV will do a much better job preventing damage to your head unit at high pressures.

I'll probably end up getting the enclosed Big Red Procharger valve. I was looking at the Vortech ones too but the mini seems like it wouldn't be able to take the boost like the big red can or flow as many cfm's.
