and yes the STi bogged horribly. there is no way in hell I could outrun an STi off the line on the street.
and @cbbass I understand not wanting to speed. I too had a friend have a close call at 110 but I figure if something goes wrong atleast I am having fun. and there were no other car's around in video.

Well you know our speedos get inaccurate at 100+mph, right? So your top speed isnt 150...probably down around 140 or so. And doing that on the street is just a stupid idea in a GT mustang. One, our cars arent really that stable at those speeds, like an 03 cobra would be. 2, it takes forever to reach those speeds. And 3, its just stupid because there is always the risk of cops or other drivers on the road and something potentially very bad would happen. 3.55's wont do crap for you honestly. Youre better off using your money on other mods then buy 3.55 gears. The only reason i would run those gears is if i were f/i'd(especially turbo'd) or have a high hp twin screw car. Not really an upgrade at all.

My speedo was calibrated perfectly when I had it dyno'd. I agree it is stupid when other cars are around but as long as I am only risking my life or risking seeing a cop then there is nothing wrong with it.

You dont get it...no matter how perfectly calibrated your speedo is on the dyno, your speedo is going to be inaccurate at those speeds. And i dont know about you, but im not willing to lose my license for a long time and have to pay a ton of money for car insurance for going 100+ on the street. Just not worth it to do that.

i was surprised as well how quickly she went 0-60 and through to 110. i would not go from stock 3.27s to 3.55s go with 3.73s.

i ran an 8.63@82.55 on street tires, bolt on car. i know even with my heavy tires a good launch and my car is just under 5 sec to 60, altho not much with those heavy bastards...like 4.9 lol. and to be honest is he wants to speed by himself, thats his choice, i dont really think hes hurting anyone...but it would suck to lose your licence due to getting caught. and youd vaporize a deer at that speed, and you wouldnt live to tell about it lol. And they are kinda right, 3.55s unless you plan on FI soon really wont be worth the money, unless you do it yourself, cuz id say it wouldnt be a bad mod for 200 bucks, but for 500, you may want more bang for the buck.
