the powder coated black is not like anyone can see it so i dont really care and like you said extra cash for a cover?? nobody can see that either so it dosent really bother me

You can always save he money on powder coating and rattle can them. That's what I will do when I finally get sfc.

paint them before you get them welded on even though there going to scrape some off, if you paint them on the car you wont be able to get the top part, thats a great list, i would have went with mgw for the shifter but a lot of people like steeda

It's not just the looks. The cover is a better quality piece. It's got load bolts to add some support to your bearing caps, and unlike the stock piece a good girdle should never leak.
