i dont mind the interior....if you compare ir to a comperable car in the same class (a camaro or fire bird) those interiors are 10X worse than ours and i HATE the orange interior lights of pontiac's

i drove a Mach 1 last weekend and was quite happy with those seats.

I wish the car had forged internals, a six speed with a really tall/long (?) 6th gear overdrive ratio like .50, made more power stock, had much much better seats, better safety crap, standard HIDs, a functional hood scoop, didn't clunk and rattle like a typical 11 year old car would.....

that's probably about it. I blame Ford for everything.

the fact that stock new edge mustangs are slow hence the huge modding aftermarket for mustangs. I also wish car was a few hundred pounds lighter. But absolutely love it supercharged and supporting mods.

Some things that I hate about the mustang. The stock suspension is kinda soft for a sports car. I HATE the position of the shifter, I don't like having to lean forward to shift. I hate the cup holder. And the final thing that I hate is how small the trunk opening is.

Stock ride height, little performance gains from mods, bare bone interior on anything pre 2005, the huge spoilers on the SN95s. Almost everything is plastic and it still weighs over 3,200lbs!

i dont think there is an after market b/c they are slow....it is a very common motor/car and is Fords realistic "sports car" for the common folk (not counting the the Ford GT), the mustang has been around and thus the large aftermerket parts for them. same would apply to the Camaro respectively

ahaha yes the small trunk opening....i tried to get a hockey back in there the other night for some pick up hockey (players bag not goalie bag) and it needed a little persuasion.

it would be a sweet pain to get a goali bag in there, plus pads. I had no problem when i had the tbird/mark 8 lol (i played goalie my whole life but play forward for fun in pick up games)

Oh yeah, the Mark VIII has a much nicer trunk. Hell, I could fit two 17x9 wheels with tires on them in the trunk, but I had to load them from the folded down back seat because of the opening.
