Default misfire in #3 cylinder

alright i just bought an 01 GT convertable a couple days ago, so anyway i have a hesitation on acceleration, a pretty bad one at that. then the CEL came on so i took it by autozone and had them throw a scan on it, showing a misfire in the #3 cylinder. replaced the plug which the one in it was soaked in gas from not firing obviously. so im assuming its the coil since its giving a specific cylinder? any insight is greatly appreciated.

Most likely. Swap the cops from cylinder 2 and 3. See if the code goes to #2 ...P0302

Yeah i thought about that after the fact, but if im goin to tear it back apart i might as well throw a new coil on it for $30 while im at it
