When I put my 10th anniversary brakes on the car stopped a hell of a lot better.. there is a 16ft difference in 60-0 with only stock pads. with aftermarket pads your likely looking at, at least another 5 ft off that distance.

A cobra gets 60-0 in 119ft, a new Vette does it in 110. A stock GT does it in 135.. you be the judge.. Your also stopping a heavier car than the vette.. the Cobra brakes are pretty damn good.

They ARE that much better than the GT's. You aren't tracking your car, you are driving it around the street getting on it every once in a while. Put a good pad in there and you are fine.

They can't take extended heat but they will stop you.

I have upgraded to Baer's because I am tracking the car but you can run the Cobra's perfectly fine if you can keep them cool.

unfortunately brembo discontinued their blanks in a 13" so I've been checking around to see if anyone still had some new ones in stock.

I wasn't aware of that. I guess I don't feel as bad going with Baer now. At first I was mad that you could get Brembo replacements for about 1/2 as much as mine.

Sometimes ACDelco or Motorcraft have some "high performance" rotors that are drilled or slotted, but yes it is mostly OE parts.
