Pictures and a description of the parts without calling them plastic and rubber pieces. You need to be more specific and give the location of the parts while referring to surrounding parts so we can get a feel for what youre talking about. There are lots of plastic pieces and rubber pieces. lol

Like Teej, I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about, but I had no problems installing my BBK cai, despite BBK's crappy instruction sheet.

Actually, I'm still using this CAI with my supercharged setup, lol

That piece was tough to get on. A little engine oil on it may lube it up. You can also stuff something in the plastic to stretch it out a bit. It'll deform with heat too. Once it's actually on, you should put a hose clamp on it or something because it'll only get loose with time.

Not a problem N/A (though it would be unmetered air), but that pipe pops off with even the slightest amount of boost :P So just clamp it down. It's poor design.

My MAC CAI is the exact same design and all I did was moisten the inside of the hose and twisted back and forth like hell until it finally went on. That part was easier putting on than the air filter was up inside of the fender well.

I had to use hose clamps for both of those tubes, they kept popping off, especially the IAC tube.
