I found my headunit used for 650 (v1 s-trim) after bout 4 days of crawling the forums. I looked on the classifieds o about every stang forum lol. Bought mine at svtperformance.com classifieds. Corral.net has a lot of listings too! Just get out and look . Everything I saw on ebay was kits

 

The 1500 bucks thread sticky is a good source of info, but the actual total price usually exceeds that. It might still be less expensive than buying a kit already used, but the kit has everything you would need most likely for maybe a few hundred bucks more.

Just pointing out the obvious. Some members here are also currently selling S/C kits.

well yea it cost more than 1500, but its a far cry away from a brand new full kit...im doing it this way like most people are because its easyier to get 400 here and there, and the only big spender being the head unit, coming up with 4k or whatever is just to long of saving, to easy for the moeny to go out for other things. Your best bet if you had like 2k lying around would be to buy someones full kit. alot of full used kits go for around 1500-2000 with everything except dyno. Just really depends on where money comes from.
