i agree. more air going in is never a bad thing as long as you have the fuel to accomodate it. i would almost guess a 75 would help make more power than a 70.

^^ I was just going to link that...

the worst flowing 75MM TB/plenum (500 cfm from TrickFlow/ Professional Products) combo in that chart exceeds 90% Volumetric Efficiency of our stock 4.6L's at 475 cfm and the worst 70MM TB/plenum is at 470 cfm.

how i see it, if you are going FI later anyways, go 75MM. im running 75MM TB/plenum and dont notice any significant gains or losses. i got a deal on the combo so i got 75. if i bought it new i would have gone 70 bc im NOT going FI later on.

simply put, my setup can flow more than my engine calls for... only hurts you when your setup cant flow enough

I recently installed the BBK 78mm combo, and seemed to really open up the upper RPM where it usually falls flat. My only problem is an SES light at idle for a lean code, but hopefully I can resolve that with a tuner.

That's not from installing a tb. You more than likely fugged up your egr. If you're running lean your front O2's could be weak.

How? 2 bolts move out of the way, new gasket put the 2 bolts back in??? I like the idea though as i have adjusted the TPS, Throttle stop, and cleaned the IAC and still lean code only at idle.

Note: You are planning on getting a centrifical supercharger, right?
Yeah, I plan on getting a centifugal. That's what the DIY one is I think. Well what the parts are for anyway.

I also just picked up the BBK 78 mm T/B combo. However, I'm not going to install it until I put the vortech on in a few weeks 78 is overkill for N/A I would think.
