Awesome thanks guys. Yeah staging and burnout water pit seem to be my biggest concern. Also after you pass the end do you just kind of have to lock them up to slow down or is there a lot of room? Also is it hard to line up on the line or fairly easy?

According to the rules I am supposed to have a driveshaft loop. Do you guys think this is necessary or can I sneak by without one?

My advice..... keep driving until you get to the nearest road course and do some real track work

Oh you mean tear the road course and transform it to a drag stip. Got it. Will do.

I have thought about it, but not sure if there are any around here and it really seems like it would be rough on the vehicle throwing it around back and forth. I think I will start with a straight line for now and see how I do at that.

i cant wait to try my hand this season with my 5 spd. only experiance i have is only 6 passes in my 95 Mark 8 with a best of 15.1 at 95 ahaha

autos its all about the launch and leave your foot in it. manuals seems launches and shift points.

and yes there should be ample time to slow down....if i was to guess maybe 1/8 mile after the finish (assuming on a 1/4 mile track. at least it is where i go)

goodluck. keep us updated on times/experiance

dont be nervous haha. The first time at the track for me i had 10.5 nittos drs. I forgot to lower the pressure. And it was before my gears and suspension mods and i ran a 14.6 with a 2.6 60ft! haha i was so embarassed. I launched at like 3500 and just spun through first and half of second i felt like such an idiot but thats how you learn ya know? The more you run the better youll get at it.
