Noob here from CT, asking some ??????
Hey guys,
I am the FNG around here, at least until the next person joins anyways...
I am looking into buying a used 2000 GT, 5 speed. I saw an ad for one in upstate NY, and it looks promising.
The details:
2000 GT
5 speed
leather,
56k miles (not a typo)
Mach sound system
$7100
My questions are:
It is a used muscle car, so I know that I could be getting into trouble buying a used and abused car.
But with only 56k miles, how bad could it be?
What should I ask this guy about the car?
What should I check out that could be busted?

FNG, awesome! They've been calling me that at work since I started 6 months ago. Are you/were you in the service?
I'd say 56k is safe, you'll get a better feel once you meet the owner. Miles that low, probably safe to say it's an older person, doesn't mean it wasn't beaten on, but there's a better chance the the beatings were less severe...

Yep, I was in US Army, funny how the FNG term never dies...
Yeah, the guy is 32 supposedly, and the stang is 100% stock.
I have to hold out now, cuz the insurance may be fixing my truck, instead of totaling it out.
hurry up and wait all over again... haha
