Default shorty headers?

I know they obviously arent the best choice, but for 150 i could get some from BBK, and i figured they gotta be better than factory, and i would think with an SC they might make a noticable difference? am i wrong?

so shorties....good for looks id do mid or longtubes, but longtubes id have clearance problems....my car already hits speed bumps if i dont go over them right, and the last thing i need it to destroy a 600plus dollar improvment. And mids wouldnt be bad, but then id have to buy a new x pipe, and that gets spendy for somthing that isnt a good as long tubes. I just figured if i can get a few FWHP that might be worth it and the better looks.

Yes and no... looks well sure they will look better but you can't see them on a mod motor. They will offer little to no performance increase. Its not like the old 5.0 days, our stock manifold are actually quite good.

Didn't know your car was fwd lol

Longtubes are going to make more power throughout the whole powerband but up top it is close if not the same. And since everyone here is only about hp, the midrange lose with the shorties is ok for most

lol first off that was for flywheel hp, since i know to the ground is going to be like 1hp if that lol. and did you mean shorties? make more power whole range? cuz you kinda split 2 things, one says long tube more power, but up top they should be making more power not less, and are there mid range loses with shorties? you confused me a bit.

When I installed my ARH Longtubes and ARH Midpipe, I gained ground clearance over my stock mid-pipe.

The long tubes will pick up more power at any given point over shorties. As an example: I gained 20 rwhp & 57 rwtq on nitrous with just the addition of long tubes. No retuning was needed, the a/f remained almost the same.
