If possible just save for longtubes. As far as installation go that just depends on the person doing it. I had mine installed in a lil over a day that was with 02's extended and what not. Cant beat the sound of a good set of longtubes mid pipe and mufflers. The only reason to not do long tubes is if you are going turbo in the future.

I was meaning if you went from LTs to shorties you would lose midrange.

I'm guessing you still won't understand what I am saying.

lol you guys crack me up....im not going from lts to shorties, id be going from factory to somthing. Biggest reason i probebly wont do LTs is clearance...and then cost. install will be easy since whole motor is out and in peices...with equal length shorties or just aftermarket shorties, i can keep my bassani xpipe, so not only are they cheeper to buy but i can use the rest of the exhaust, if i go with anything else, i may have to buy the whole system....i dont have the money for that or the time to wait for the money, and seeing how much of a bitch it was to remove it, im not interested in doing it again, unless its to install a forged motor. And in the distant future id like turbos.

How does going from LTs to shorty's make any sense to begin with? Are you kidding me? With that reasoning....not many people are gonna understand what you are saying
