Help identifiying hoods on 1999

99-00 v6 and GT have no scoop

99/01 cobra has the 99-00 gt/v6 hood except the scoop is facing the opposite way

what you just said was pretty confusing. but the 99 didnt have a scoop. even though you wrote

That car is a V6 bud...the badges that you can see on the sides barely are tri-bar with running horse. Thats the V6 badge. GT's would say GT in bold letters on the front fender, where that one is just a red, white, and blue tri-bar with the running horse...and it has sixxer wheels on it too.

I'm confused on why you have to put a hood from a 99 on your car? Here is all you need to know. You need a new hood all 99/04 hoods will bolt on to your car. Look thru pictures of different hoods for the 99/04 Mustang and pick the one you like and buy it bolt it on and enjoy

after painting it of course...cus that would just be ricer. But definitely do something about those headlights man.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure '99 and '04 GT's don't say "GT" on the side

:-)

Having said that, car definitely appears to be a v6, and a v6 that has not been taken care of at all.

Well im pretty sure that they dont have the tri-bar running pony emblem either. lol so my bad on not calling out that 99's and 04's have the anniversary badging on them.
