used is not bad at all, man used is good as long as its in good condition it saves money right? I love mustangs, and I don't like the way camaro's look at all. But Im a car guy, not a Ford only guy so I recognize the vette for what it is. But I respect you being a Ford guy man completly. Im on my second Mustang, but to be completely honest I'd by a new C6 over a Shelby in a heartbeat.

Oh crap

You mean to tell me that newer cars are actually going to be faster than my car?

Well, time to find a cliff.

I agree with the Vette being a bad *** car but maybee when Im 60 and my blue pills are not working right. I would take a shelby any day for the rarity ya know ? 15-50k more so what, if you have that kind of money to blow then what does price matter. The corvette and the WS6 are among my top list of cars specially from GM (along with the Grand National and Chevelle). But I would rather spend 30k on a ford 2v then 40k+ on a GM sports car and run neck in neck with it or spank it. Lol the power of boost is great man.

Yeah a Shelby is definetly more rare, and if I were to have a car collection it'd definetly be in there. But if I had to choose one for a DD I'd take the vette all day. N/A power is where it's at. If you can put down the same amount of power with an N/A motor and the next guy is pushing with boost you've got him all day long. Also some food for thought is imagine a C6 with a callaway supercharger? I've seen a Z06 with a paxton at a local car meet we have here every friday and the guy always has dynosheet on the windshield it dyno's at 900 HP, yeah it's to the crank so it's prolly pushing high 800 rwhp....it'd be real hard to get a mustang to do that

I like it with just bolt ons, maybe a PI swap, headers, lowering springs and rims...but that's the extent I will prolly take mine to. If I want serious performance man I'll buy a C5 vette for like $12k used throw on a few bolt on's and call it a day.
I agree with you that its hard to drop a couple thousand into the stang, but with bolt ons, such as the headers you mentioned you're still gonna be upwards of a 1K plus a tune for your PI swap. Might as well just do the $1500 s/c set up. OR just drop 6K on the Griggs SLA kit and pwn all, in the corners that is.
