Haha....The amount of threads there have been in the last month about people being scared of the new v6 and 5.0 is funny.

I agree, I could care less. I mean good for Ford for stepping up the competition and sticking it to them bow tie fan boi's. But .... why be scared ? have confidence in your driving skills and car, then go have fun and race (its not life or death).

No doubt newer cars will and should have better performing more powerful engines...However a V8 will respond better and produce more power when modded then a sixxer. However it'd be interesting to see a turbo application for the sixxer that might be a whole different ball game

I dont know about a 8 always making better performance but they sure as hell are more sexier. As for a turbo on that 3.7 look at the new SHO ! runs 12's stock but of course its TT with AWD.

TBH, I love the new engine setups for the 2011's, I'm just drastically disappointed in the suspension setups. However due to the suspension shortcomings, I'm still certain I should be able to outcorner them^^

yeah with your setup I would think so lol... Im glad they did not go ***** out and add a superior suspension on them. I mean they hand alot better stock then before but that just gives us mod happy consumers more time to kill.

Yeah and considering the SHO is a TT made by factory specs something that's mass produced and reasonably priced. If you take it to a specialty shop and have them customize the 2011 sixxer for a big single turbo application, I bet it'd be pushing 400+ rwhp

I would not be surprised if it hit low 500's, I would like to know what that engine can hold.

Someone told me V6's (new edge) are "bulletproof" w/e that means stock from the factory? Anyone know anything about that?
