The 99-00 has 2 bolts on each side and a little plastic piece in the middle for alignment... It doesn't have 3.

Not at all, Vettes suck IMOP. When my dad had his 1996 LT4 Collector's Edition, the only times I asked him to drive it were when I looked at its place in the garage, and if it looked like he hadn't driven the damn thing in 2-4 weeks I would take it for a short 5-min drive just to keep the battery alive. I was way more content with my 89 LX with 280rwph.

The only reason I would take a Vette over a Mustang is they are worth more. I would sell the thing in a heartbeat and get a 03-04 Cobra (stock or with a KB on it) or any year GT500 stock or modified. GM makes faster, more expensive cars, Ford makes better ones.
