Default HELP!! MOTOR PROBLEMS

So about 3 months ago I had my spark plug shoot out and destroy my COP. I had it repaired and everything and the sound it made was like a popping running like crap sound (most of you know this sound bc i know the plug problem is a pretty common thing). Well, today all of the sudden i had the same symptoms and sounds that the spark plug problem except when I pulled over to check under the hood, the only problem was there was steam/white smoke shooting out of where the passenger side head meets the block (pretty sure thats where it was). Anyways, The shop cant get to it till tommorow and I need to know what you all thinks wrong with it?

Any suggestions??

I do 99% of the work myself and I usually allocate $300-$400 for a head gasket. If you are getting a mechanic to do it, then upwards of $1000.

I just wanna say, i did NOT have any white smoke coming from the exhaust, and the engine was shaking and running like CRAP. Popping, sounded like it had no manifold on it...

sounds to me like you are leeking coolant from a bad gasket. Taking the head off is gonna take a lot of time and effort. You gotta pretty much pull the entire top half of the motor off. And dont forget you will need a torque wrench to put the bolts back on right.

I would like to know how much time and skill will be needed.... thanks for any help you guys i really appreciate it.
