bad news...
Well I know for a fact you don't need a forged block to run 10s. Guy in town with a stock junkyard 4.6 runs high 10s all day with a full interior.
This is the guys car. Lifts both tires very easily and lifts them even, no chassis twisting. Sorry for the small picture.

He dyno'd right around 410rwhp on a MUSTANG dyno. I'm not sure on the TQ. He is running a stock 4.6 Mustang longblock with twin turbos. He has full drag suspension, full interior, slicks and skinnies, built 4r70w with a stall. It is pretty sweet. There is a video of him running a 7.05 without slicks and skinnies. Thing moves out. I'm going to be doing the same suspension setup as he runs, or very close to it.
OKay so here our my plans so far tell me what you think. Im gonna get a forged assembly with dished pistions maybe .20 over. Use my heads intake etc. Run a vortch intercooled with 10psi. Strip my interior put a 8 point cage in. Slicks and skinnies. Hows that sounds.
F*** 10psi...try like 17 if you have the motor to handle it...which you will!!! it'd be kinda dumb to forge your block and then not even push high 400's. I mean do some fuel upgrades and bigger injectors and maybe a new intake manifold and go for broke.
intake isnt necessary but it would aid in making more power. You would need probably 60lb injectors, probably dual walbro in-tank pumps, maybe bigger fuel rails, and probably bigger fuel lines. it sounds like a lot but its not that horrible. But i dont see why you would build a forged bottom end and not actually use some of its potential.
honestly i dont know too much on boost i can build a motor and do all the mechanical work but as far as boost goes im lost. Im looking into putting a fuel cell in too. What would be a good setup like give me some brands for the whole fuel setup. Im sure ill need bigger fuel lines too with 15+psi.
aeromotive makes good kits, magnafuel makes kits as well. you just gotta look around and see what fits into your power goals and budget. Lots of people just go the route of piecing their fuel system together.
Well you have a t45 and they seem to handle more power than the t3650's do for some reason, but that would be something that i'd save for and promotion makes the built T45 for like $1590 and that handles 750+. you would need to do a clutch, and something like a centerforce df clutch would probably be good for you since they hold around 600hp at the crank. Your rear is already built so dont need to worry about that.
