Ive had the Sumi HTR Z's in 275 and 315 from AM for about 4000mi and they have been fine for me. I dont push the car through the corners or launch hard on the street a lot (this firday night at the strip will see how they are )

but for a cruiser/DD the work for me. low road noise, they are a bit hard when it gets chilly out as far as traction. they are fine in the rain and have never had a scare with them.

Yeah I can't get my hands on one though, I'll get around to it eventually

Why sink the money into wheels that can fit 315's if you cant afford halfway decent tires for them? Thats like buying an entire hellion setup without the turbo and slapping some ebay masterpower peice of crap on there. If youre on a budget do some bargain hunting, check out CL, check out the corral, even ebay. I got my 315/35/17 NT05's for $325.

I hear ya man...

I have checked CL out the ying yang. Unfortunately, I have been temporarily relocated to middle of nowhere West Texas and there is NOTHING used for sale. I've even looked at driving all the way to Dallas or Austin (5-7 hours) but I still can't find anything. I bought my current tires used...but I don't want to drop $400 - 500 on used tires when I can get them brand new for $700.

If I were to keep my 18's...what about the sumi HTRZ II's. A brand new set will run me about $600.

Are you dead set on that kind? Really.....give the Nitto Invo's some consideration. I can't believe the difference they made in my car.

Are you serious?! I got my 295 35 18 NT05's for $215/tire and another $20/tire install and then tax on top of that and they were less than $500 total. Im sure you could get other tires for cheaper that are much much better tires than sumitomos...unless you are talking about all 4 tires...in that case, you are gonna pay at least $800 for tires on all 4 corners.

I'm not dead set on sumi's....just can't find anything else in the same price range.

Where are you guys finding the Nitto INVO's?

DTD, for 275 35 18's they are $204/tire and for 295 35 18 they are $226/tire.

I am looking for all four tires.

My first post was kind of misleading.... I guess I am going to keep my 18's and buy 4 new tires. Trying to stay in the $600 - $700 range.

My local tire shop did better than DTD did. The price my tire shop quoted me was $235/tire installed and on DTD they were $237/tire and then i would have had to get them installed. So try your local tire shop. They can probably get you a good deal on some better than sumitomo tires. But shoot for nittos as they are pretty good tires and ive loved every set ive had.
