Talking NA or BLOWER

I have a 2003 mustang gt convertible

It has the

4.10 ford racing gears
diablo sport performance tune
brute force dry air intake
hurst racing shifter
monroe replacement suspension

For about 3500 to 4000 dollars i can get a supercharger OR

for approx calculation i can get heads and cams and all its supporting equipment maybe 3000 to 3300 doolars give or take.

My goal is i want some SPICE..some pep in the car that it will take off super fast and have fun without spending stupid amounts of cash and so forth.

Both route will get me into the 300 HP category and so forth and both routes have their ups and downs.....personally id prefer NA simply its the engine doing what its supposed to with upgraded components and without outside help such as nitrous or blower and so forth. Any ideas would help.

Think , when you do N/a on these 2v's you are really limited to certain area's. Yeah you can get bigger cams and port the heads more down the road but with a blower there a multiple ways to add more power (once you get sick of H/P and TQ you are aiming for). MPH has nice kits for great prices with everything you need or there is the $1500 S/C thread, Also you can keep a boost friendly car more street-able then a high powered N/A 2v.

I prefer n/a only because its usually a better torque curve(although not as MUCH). I think n/a cars are more fun to drive than a centri car also. Theres just something about a 2v reving to 7 grand that gets me excited.

A supercharger will give you more power period. It will also have better driveability. OR you can spend $2000 on trick flow heads, get some CMS stage 2 1/2 cams, and have to rev it to the moon just to maybe make 350 RWHP.

Get a blower.

Nobody's revving to 7K on a stock bottom end, so if you wanna spend the money for heads and cams and then dump more money in for a forged rotating assembly just to make 350, maybe 400 NA, be my guest. Or you could just get a blower, make 400hp, then if you wanna do a longblock down the road you can push 650-700+
