Default intake manifolds

any one know where i can find a intake manifold for a 01 gt? i want to keep it fuel injected still

The Edelbrock intake is probably the best there is. You gain about 15 hp and give up 15 lbft of torque, but its a decent trade off I think for where the power is traded at.

I plan to get this one and some stage 2 cams when my intake takes a crap.

here is about 4 billion threads on this topic...should provide you with some good info...

FWIW you don't need an aftermarket intake unless you are making some serious power already, or have the ability to spin 7k rpms or better.

He is somewhat of a newb...so i think we should let him slide but he does need to use the search function. i forget where i saw this at, but there is a sheetmetal intake elbow to use a stock style tb for that intake manifold without needing a bigger hood. I gotta find it though.

Its 6061.com.... or 6160.com i cant remember...and it costs about 225...theyre made to order...you can opt for xx number of vac ports,egr,iac etc....or equipt just as stock... i was looking at them when i was thinking fully built na and a big shot

it actually wasnt that website. It was somewhere else. It comes with everything exactly where they are factory and everything. It was a really nice piece...now if i can find where i'd be in business.
