add 101,000 miles on your car and youre sitting where im at...116,345 when i dropped it off at the body shop for them to fix all their mistakes they made(paint not sticking on the hood, run in the fender, and the overall paint just not matching...way too dull to be true blue!)

Ok so it seems like these cars just start to get broken in around 70K. I always thought the 4.6s were pretty reliable if taken care of but I was just wondering because it seems like a lot of cars start to really decline once they reach a certain milage

Oh and they want $9,999. I'm going to try and get it down to at least $9,000

I have an early 01 build date 11/00. Tranny changed to t3650 later in 01. I say that sounds a little high. I would stay away from an 01 ONLY because of the confusion it can cause in getting the write part.

The build date is 10/2000 so it has the t45 tranny (right?) What's the difference between the 2? Any benefits/downfalls?

OP, there are a million of these cars out there, make damn well sure that you look for one patiently, choose the color that you WANT, and find one that was well maintained. I wouldn't necessarily shy away from cars that have been MILDLY modded, like an exhaust, because that doesnt make much difference anyway. Find one you like and drive the livin' **** out of it!

Yeah I've narrowed it down to a few that fit my criteria (coupe, 5 sp, leather etc) and am just trying to figure it all out

Not really picky on the color. I love black but I'm not really picky on the color. I don't like the gold. That's about it

WAY TOO HIGH......

Offer 6500 and if they don't take it, walk.

99-04 GT's are a dime a dozen. The '99s are already over 12 years old model wise.....
