Default Bye Bye 2v...

The topic is pretty self explanatory , I drove into a dealer with my 2v and left with a 05 3v. I was planning a build with the 04 but just could not make up my mind on what to do so I bought the S197 GT (Zips up the flame resistant suit) and it was a great decision. 40k miles, loaded w/ shelby wheels and I talked them down almost 2 grand. Who ever solely swears they are heavy pigs more then likely never drove one (more then likely), Its feels twice as nimble , its hell of allot quicker and it feels well pieced together. The rear end is still growing on me but the rest of the car is just sex IMO. The way the 3v growls is just sweet music to my ears, Let me know what you guys think.

Pics...........

Maybe Next year I will find a cheap 2v GT and make it a nitrous car , I still love the New Edge looks.

You are in desire need of an after market aggressive hood my only complaint with them is they do not look as muscular as the edges. Nice purchase.

Yea id look into a complete hood/ or just the hood scoop.

Whats your first plan?? Id reccomend the Pypes "bomb" style axelback...go to AM and listen to it...it sounds GREAT!!

My gpa has an 05 and i really like it...its an auto and still pretty damn quick. Its only got a flowmaster catback but i still love driving it. Rides nice, handles well, and sounds pretty damn good.

Good purchase!

I love the interior in them but just don't like the exterior. Congrats on your purchase.

Also, why not put nitrous in on this car instead of buying a whole new car just to run nitrous?

Thanks all (The S197 club is fun) , I could not be happier with this car. As far as plans for performance wise I will be doing CAI/Tune like 99GTVert suggested , 3.73's , a bigger TB and FRPP hot rod cams , I plan to look at E-Force blower when I get around 70-80k miles on it. MustangmanCP ; I really like the sound of them so Im stuck on choosing between them and SLP LM's (I like obnoxious sounding exhaust lol). I know the color looks like an old person's car but thats Why chose that over a redfire GT with slightly higher mileage. I was looking for something simple , clean and classy. As far as a hood I will be looking into a nice cowl hood like so ...

WannaBeGearHead ; This is my nice weather daily cruiser and week end romper, I will more then likely never take it to a straight line track. I will do some autoX but I also want a project car to build and run nitrous on. Its down to a nice Fox or if I can find a cheap New edge, either one of those for my afterwork boredom killer would be nice.
