i would check to see if there is any play in your idler pulleys as well..

Yeah, I have a K/N filter now. I'll probably do the oil/tranny/and rear diff all at the same time later this summer.

I checked all the pulleys. There's no play, along with the water pump. Belts are newer, as is the alternator it looks like.
