Hot Feet?

no, see the noise is created by the transfer of vibrations from the road, through the solid bushings, to the body of the car and the body vibrates, making the noise. So, in theory, if you stop the vibration, you stop the noise. That's a super simple layman's explanation lol

Devon since you already have the Dynamat, I'd use it but if not I believe there is a specific material designed for lowering heat. Second Skin has some (I keep referring to them since they are the only place I really looked into).
In my case of wanting to kick down drone, the way and material the owner told me would also by default kick down the heat as well. But if going ONLY for heat reduction, there would be another product for it.
I'm curious to see what you get for temps. Maybe take a 30 min drive and take temps before with car off and then at the end of the drive and obviously what ambient air temps are outside. Also what if you tapped the thermometer UNDER the car to see what kind of temp differances you get in the same location of the car. Maybe I'll try that this weekend as well.
