Need some input
Also posted in the Mach 1 section... Figured I could generate more opinions from a larger crowd. Well I was involved in a fender bender and have a few deep scrapes in my rear bumper and the exhaust tip is a little crooked... Touch up paint is pointless but will get me by for the time being. The other car is effed, it was a Toyota MR-S and I guess all you can say is built Ford tough lol!
My question for you guys is:
Anybody Know a good website where I can find a quality replacement bumper?
Should I...
1) Buy a 03/04 Cobra bumper and have the "COBRA" filled in.
2) Buy a stock Mach 1/GT bumper and call it good.
3) Or???
The bad...
The good!

Ill answer ya: So last week i got into a fender bender & got this on my rear bumper on the right side above the exhaust.
I went to multi shops & was quoted at over $300. I thought about buying a new bumper and painting it but that too would be even more 400ish. So i did it myself. Did i make it near perfect again? NO. Can you tell something happened there? YES. But you have to bend down and be near my car. Mine were deep
Here what i used:
2000 grit sand paper
touch up paint
Mothers scratch remover
Mothers Carnauba cleaner wax
Simoniz "clear coat repair kit"
But it up too you as far as how good you want it to look as well as how much $$ its worth to you. I plan on repaintint the whole car in a year or two. That or trading it so im not too considered. But i thought it was crazy to spend that money on such a thing.
MY ADVICE: First fix it as much as you can. Then go in & take it into a body shop to finish.
*i could show ya my after pic if you'd like.... just need to take a pic first*
