I don't know how a bad wheel bearing would be intermittent...it is more often then not experiencing a load on it and anytime the wheel rotates it would make a noise (assuming the car is on the ground)

FYI. It does not help your situation telling us your tires suck and you know they are nearly bald then complain that the car makes a weird noise from what seems like the tire/wheel area....

Look into the wheel bearing. Goodluck

Okay so my front right wheel well is so loud now that my ears were ringing after I drove my car on the highway from work. It is a droning sound similar to the beginning of this song:

Seriously, how long before my wheel falls off?
Can I just replace the hub and call it a day?? Or is this a BALANCE issue??
