This topic has been beaten like a dead horse...

However, I'd rather eat sh*t and die than trade my baby in for a new V6. With all due respect for the V6, the technology is great, the improvements are night and day from the previous model, but it has absolutely nothing on my car.

For those who keep standing by the **GAS MILEAGE** as a reason - Buy a different f'n car if you are looking for 30mpg+.

LOL and cliff.. there is something that HAS been done for the V6 in terms of torque. 20RWTq is NOTHING... the new v6 has 40more HP and only 20 less tq... thats a fuggin triumph for a smaller motor.
YOU seem to have a deep love for those new 6s and are going to bat very hard for them vs the older v8 when its well know what some$$$ into that v8 will get you vs the price of that new v6. that love seems so deep that maybe you need to trade in that pretty red stang for that new v6 and let sm1 else dump some love towards that old 2v v8! just a thought

What's the point of driving a Mustang if it's a slow turd?

Theres nothing worse to pride when a V8 loses to a V6.. Just plain and simple. I do like posting that video... oh well.. If you don't like the V6 well then don't get one.. Who cares. If we all had the same taste the world would be no fun.. I moved cars for financial and other reasons. To each their own. I love my V6 sooooooo much! I also loved my V8 sooooo much. And truthfully... there really isn't that big of a difference in the torque department. Its really not that noticeable. In first gear there is a difference.. but really after 30 its the same.. To each their own.. End thread.

I would like to test drive a new sixxer. I would obviously trade up if I got like almost 20 grand for my trade in, but in the real world I'm not sure I wouldn't consider other options before going with a new sixxer.
