im not a "Math wiz" by any means but 12rwhp seems a bit more than the assumed 1-2 hp gain. but when it boils down to it run whatever sounds like music to your ears or run what will give you more power more than 1-2 hp. reasearch it its been tested more than a few times instead of takin in ppls opinions as gospel.

Are you telling me that if you took two 2valve, BONE STOCK, 99-2004 Mustang GT 5 speed cars, and installed one with an offroad H and one with an offroad X...that they would have a 12rwhp difference on a dyno?
That is absolute horsesh*t.

I knew this was going to turn into a "what one is better" thread....
After readin what rockwell posted as a quote...it said that the X quiets down the exhaust and makes less rasp....Um that's not what my ears here AT ALL! It's the complete opposite.
I never believe the "tests" I read on the internet. On a stock 2V you will not see any gains/losses to the point to deeter you one way or another. AGAIN I made this thread for personal opinion on SOUND....performance is taking a back seat in this case.
EDIT: I would like to have a shop/supplies and I would make all sorts of diff midpipes of diff sizes and test them. Then sell them off to people who want them. Also that quote by rockwell was of a 2.5" H and then with an X having 2.5" 3" and 3.5" piping.....so why not make the H pipe out of all 3"?? They are making too many variables (pipe dia) to make a good comparison IMO.

Ummm ya the info rockwell posted is a bunch of bull****t. Cliff debunked that quote once already, the guys are morons...it should be obvious right away as they do not post the real reasons why the x is better, they instead make up their own because it sounds good.
ICE
what im saying is in the long run either way it goes the x will outperform the h bone stock 2v or with mods but who wants to buy a stang and keep it bone stock. so one with better performance from the start would be better later on down the road also when you start throwin mods at the car. if the x is outperforming the h even by a small margin and small is bigger than no margin at all, but if its outperforming it on a stock stang wouldnt you want the one that performs better when you start modding the car. hell maybe im the only one that see's the logic in that. maybe im wrong. not saying you will hit the majic "12" but you Will get a higher number either way it goes when talkin x's and h's. and in a hp game higher seems better to me. maybe im wrong

lmao whatever. run what the hell you want to but if you research many different sites on it you will see the x outperforms the h 9 times out of 10 alot of ppl know that but they want chime in but its all good. pulses bouncing off eachother or pulses pulling eachother through which do you think will flow better use simple logic instead of the thread expert. whatever!
LMAO are you serious well i will take my x and shove it up my *** you take your h and shove it up yours and less run some diarrhea through it at the same time and see which flows better pimpin. i wasnt really talkin to you or devon i was talkin to the guy that posted the thread but you ice for some reason dont like what i said and its not suprising that devon will try to debunk whatever i say even if i say "man it was hot in iraq" i think he will argue against me on that. its whatever.
