Regardless...the H isn't nearly loud enough, not by a longshot. In fact...the O/R x is still quieter than my loudmouths, so it's not loud enough either for me. But the X DEFINITELY sounds better. I like to hear the cackling on the downturn of the rev, unlike other people. But that is just my opinion. Then of course there is the fact that the X provides a better performance gain than the H. So ya, my vote went for the X.

Purp-don't hate me lol
looks like he also said the x outperforms the h. and at the same time he jumped down my throat. are you serious

Honestly...this thread was going fine until MrRocks had to add that jackass of a quote from an unknown source then back it up with more jackass thinking.

ANYWAYS....

OK now i'm getting annoyed becasue your messing with my thread that I meant to me a fun debate of SOUND!!!! What friggin part can't you read? You threw in a technical artical to a thread that I specified as a SOUND BASED THREAD. Not only did you fail on that but the quote you gave us was SO far from the truth and then you go and back it up....so now that's fail #2. To continue you complain people are picking on you and fight back with them over what was, from the get-go, a flawed technical peice of crap...fail #3

So stop with the childish posts and either STFU or leave...better yet do both!

EDIT: it's 12 to 9 for the H....pretty close lol

I don't care if f*cking NASA did the "Test" and it was performed on a damn KIA. It's incorrect and complete useless magazine bullsh*t material.

Actually rockwell, it's seasonably cooler in Iraq right now compared to the norm....

Just kidding, it's hot as ***** there, like 111*. But still, you cannot honestly believe that article has any merit or relevance to this thread whatsoever...

I fully 100% agree with the fact the the X-pipe can and will outperform a same sized H-pipe on the same exact car. BUT, not even by a noticeable amount. It would, at most, be 2 rwhp or so. Maaaaaaybe 3 rwhp. As far as the address post, really that wasn't necessary or a good idea for that matter, things like that are not tolerated and all purp has to do is say the word and a Mod will address it with you. It may just wash over if purp doesn't say anything, but regardless, don't ever post that kind of crap on here again.

You need to realize that most of the members on here that have been here a while have done their homework as well...reading actual books and articles backed up by results. We are not inclined to just let it slide when a newb goes polluting a perfectly good thread with garbage.

Lastly, please, for all of us...use the SHIFT key and punctuation marks!!!!!
