The Eaton blowers on the 2V, like what's on the Saleen SC281's will put out no where near what a centrifucal blower does as far as power goes. The whine of the roots style blowers sound cool. But if that's the type blower (Eaton) you can get a good deal on, "I" would pass and save up for what you really want. Just my .02

With the eaton you could get upper 3xx rwhp but you need to buy a $2000 manifold kit. So my vote is neither and that you go with a kenne bell!!!

the eaton has a lot of heat issues too iirc. You get a lot more low rpm torque/horsepower vs a vortech but the vortech makes power in the upper rpms. So ask yourself, where will I be using my power band the most?

Like mentioned before the 2v eaton swap is expensive too, the ports on the 2v are not the same as the 4v and the manifolds for 4v can't be used. You need a special manifold for your case. Also remember that the GT hood will not clear a eaton S/C with the special manifold, so a new hood will need to be on your list as well...

Prob better off with a used vortech head unit and buying the extra pieces you need piece by piece.

Roots/Twin Screw superchargers barely fall off in the high end RPMS. You MIGHT lose 1 PSI with the Eaton you WONT lose 1 PSI with a Twin-screw.

If you're a centri car you will use your power the most in the high end....because its not there in the low end. If you have roots/TS you will be using your powerband the most all over, because you have the power all over........It's no less useful @ 3k than 6k.

I vote Vortech. OP as has been mentioned in order to put the Cobra Eaton M90 blower on your car you will have to have a special intake that costs $2,000 this build is not worth it unless you have cash falling out of your pocket. An intercooled or aftercooled vortech setup will net you more power and torque. Once you start running the eaton hard repeatedly it has a notorious heat soak issue, hence the name nickname "heaton."

Eating can be done for about 3k if u find a lot of good used parts but vortech is cheaper and more reliable. I've seen hella nice # on an eaton 2v tho. Best is a factor but running less than 10psion on a stock 2v with a good heat exchanger should b fine. #s I saw were roughly 390/440 on about 9 OSI

dont forget you gotta buy a entire custom intake manifold for the eaton. That pretty much makes it pointless to boot. considering its like $1700
