Mods are hit or miss... Some times you can find the perfect buyer who is willing to pay a little more for what you've got. Other times, you are just better off parting the car out and selling an 'as close to stock' car as possible.

You might as well keep your current car....or just sell it. But noone will want to buy a heavily modded car. Noone wants to buy a car that had the **** driven out of it...no rain/snow touching it or not.

Like the others said, you have a 64,000 miles 03 GT vert. I''d say be lucky if you get 13K for it, honestly. You can get an early S197 GT with the same mileage for about 14K around here.

My best advice...Craigslist. You can always find someone randomly on there who would probably be willing to pay what you want for it. But, don't count on it.

I get at least one complement almost everytime I take her out.
I paid $29,500 new in 2003, and have dropped in another $14 - $15000 in mods.
Check out my Sig.
I would not take less then $14.5 for her.
Am I being unreasonable, or do you all think I could get even more, or less, for her?? She is not beaten, she is " adult driven ".
My best time was 12.33 on street tires, 11.97 on slicks.
Seeing that the new 2011 GT Vert with 426 ( not sure ) HP at the motor, 360 at the wheels, goe for around 40K + I am quessing, I think mine is the bargain.
I even have 50 more HP than the new GT, and I am lighter in weight.
What do you all think? Thanks for any replys, and don't be afraid to let me have it if you think my asking price is unreasonable.
such an oxymoron...look at your mods list. no way you didn't beat on it.

good luck with the sale. a car with that many mods requires the perfect buyer which is hard to find.

It's all about finding the right buyer. I had a guy at the track offer me $30K for my GT. But I wasn't selling it at the time so turned it down. Try to sell it at a track or car show where people will appreciate the mods and work put into it.

Not quite..... I hope you are not comparing my car to a stock GT with 64000 miles on it. I know I will not get anywhere near the money I have invested in it, but I spent the money because I wanted a unique car, and I have that. But it is far from being an ordinary GT.
she's 1/3 GT, 1/3 Cobra, and 1/3 Saleen, LOL!!! I think a stock 2003 Vert with relatively low miles will fetch around 12-14K.
I could get 15-18K from a Mustang enthusiast if I looked around enough, but I'm not.... she's too much fun!
Sheet, I wish I knew how to upload pics, but I am computer challenged.
I do have 30 pics on Facebook.... Ronald Thomas in South Carolina...... I'm the big douchebag in the orange shirt in my profile pic..... Look me up and I will confirm you as a friend... this goes for anybody out there who can give me some help uploading pics to this forum, or if you just want to look, because she really is a beauty. Later my freinds.

I don't really want to sell her, just feeling around. And believe it or not I don't beat on it, I am 56 years old and I am pass that point in my life.
Now running her fast and rowing through the gears to redline is not beating on her, is it?? LOL!!!

I can get a stock 03 GT ragtop around here for $5500-7000, with low mileage and in pristine shape.
