Even CMS stage's are kissing PTV at the correct center line. If you have adjustable cam gears to account for tolerances in your valve train then you can use an extremely tight tolerance cam because you can degree your cams. However if your dropping in cams, you need one where there is a bit of padding... Its the same thing with canned tunes, they need to lower the timing and richen the tunes for safety because every car is different.
I've heard nothing but good things from MHS stage 2 cams.

Listen guys when i did my MHS stage 2's i got a whopping 0.030" clearance doing the measuring myself. This was right on par with Nick's findings as well. As you know these cams are by no means big compared to some of the others that people are using with the stock pistons and valves.
Personally i'd send them back. It's really a gamble with those Hitech cams.
