Default 2001 Roush stage 3 buyer..how can I tell if its a REAL ROUSH

whats going on guys....I know its better to use the search engines to try and answer questions but I couldnt really find what Im looking for. Heres my questions/concerns...(1) Did the Roush cars (stage 3) come with A-pillar gauges? if not, im obviously going to add them....(A/F ratio, Boost). (2) I know I can do a VIN verify with Roush's website...but is it true that theres supposed to be a Roush verification label on the inside of the door or door jam? I havent gone and looked at the car yet cause its 2 hrs away...So i dont have a VIN. (3) I read on Fnsweet.com that Roush only made 28 true blue stage 3's. 14 coupes, 14 convertibles. The ad says production # 59...and the HP and boost numbers are up from stock. 388HP and 8PSI...maybe its a pulley? Anybody can go buy the badges and throw them on anything. The car looks amazing...but Ive looked at alot of cars im gettin info and pictures confused.

Thanks for the help....

Id throw in a picture but im to new or something...the site wont let me post attachments.

I'm pretty sure they had a pillar gauges. They came with 360 HP and 6 PSI, so maybe they did swap the pulley. They do have a roush label on the car, and i'm pretty sure its on the door jam. Your best bet is to call roush when you get the VIN. Sounds good but you should make sure.

pretty sure that they also print a "number" on the front bumper beside the front headlight (drivers side), and possibly other places to represent their production number, or something along those lines.

Like already stated, get the vin# and call up roush and have them run it for you!

So I talked to the guy whos been running the ad for the car. The VIN number checks out with roush. Turns out its a friend of a friend type deal. guy A owns car...guy B owns car lot. The guy who owns the car bought a normal GT...then gave it to roush himself...Im deffinatly looking foward to this purchase. The grin on my face is gonna be huge!
