BTW - stock springs are fine with the Comp270 even though Comp says otherwise and wants you to run their springs with pretty much the same specs as the stock springs............

Maybe they don't know specifically because they didn't do the install, but they actually have the cam in question and it worked without issue. Thus, the "assumption' is that they do work if not installed "INCORRECTLY." That is nearly the same thing as saying if "INSTALLED CORRECTLY."

Just a thought...
