Default Help: Exhaust setup

First time car buyer and i got a 02' 4.6L v8 GT! Loving it so far but now that i have it I would like to do some work to it. I was thinking about doing something with the exhaust to make it sound a lot better than what comes stock. Any advice to what i should go with? Brands, price, and anything that can make this chick magnet a little better? What I'm really looking for is something with a decent price, not real obnoxious... just something that sounds nice!

Here's a good link http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustangexhaust.html Look at the exhaust FAQ on the right side to answer your questions. Exhaust choice is a matter of personal opinion and can also have some performance benefits too.

I suggest a X or H pipe and a nice catback. Use youtube to hear clips to find the right combo.

I just got my magnaflow magnapack catback exhaust for my mustang today. Got it from magnaflowdirect.com. Only costs $390 + tax(if you live in cali like i do) and shipping. Mine came out to $450 with tax and shipping. Still the cheapest place around I could find. Gonna be installing it on wednesday. Ill post a video up once its all installed.

You can't beat the classic sound of o/r h and flows. But there is also options such as going catted midpipe and a louder muffler like magnapacks or slp lm1/2 or borla stingers. YouTube is your friend when it comes to picking exhaust.
