yea I financed. Poor ppl have poor ways right? lol. Anyways I found a ton of aftermarket wires that were ran to 2 amps that were mounted on the back of the back seats. While in the vicinity, what is the big black cover lookin thing on the top of the inside of trunk? There's like 4 or 6 nuts that would need an extension to get to them.

BTW, what's the torque rating for these things stock? I know it has High gears, but it pulls hard.

300tq.

the big black thing is what holds the rear speakers. its there mainly for on the mach 460 so it sounds more 'bassy' than if it were just speakers screwed to the deck without some sort of enclosure.

you bought a catless car from a dealer? so im assuming this was an as-it-sits sale? if so, good luck getting the dealership to fix anything for free.

btw...what was wrong with the fox?

oh ok, I need to figure out this crappy cd player then. It sounds like even just the basic mach audio package was pretty good. But this cd player is dumb and I can literally not find any option to change bass or treble. So Is there and suggestions on stuff to do to a 4.6 to really change it? Like any mods in the motor that are basic, suspension? I have no clue whats done to the car, i think is has a set of mild lowering springs, lower in the front tho.

I dont really know why the dealership sold it without cats, it was a missouri car. they told me before I bought it that they would fix the speedometer, and I just have to come back to do so. Nothing was wrong with the fox at all. I just have always wanted a 99-04 mustang. they're my favorite years. But i'm not going to lie, I miss my 5.0 alot. And feel like I got screwed bad on my trade in deal, but I could only come home with one.

i just got a 4.6 as well, altho i still have my 5.0 based car. i like my 4.6 car WAY better than the '95 already. it's just a lot slower than the '95 as well lol. as far as mods go just get a tuner then throw nitrous at it. .

Any suggestions on a tuner and prices? I've never owned anything worth tuning lol or that qualified for tuning. But if its not too bad, then its something i'll consider soon.

talk to the good shops in your area and see what software they use.

in the event you do anything that requires a dyno tune (cams/heads, blower, nitrous, etc...) you will need to have a tuner that they support to save your tune to the handheld.
