Default gears and tuner

Well its just about time to put the car away since I live in NY and thinking of the winter mods. Gonna go with a JLT intake. What ratio gears should I get? 3.73 or 4.10? Considering that it is a convertible, I don't do much highway driving at all and going to supercharge it one day. Finally what tuners do you guys have that worked out really well for you. Thanks for any help, Jerry

Before you post, be sure to check other threads by using the search button. More than likely, someone has asked a similar question. But to answer your question, if you are going to S/C it in the future, go with 3.73. There is no significant drop off in MPG between the two. Oh, and most, including myself, will recommend a SCT tuner

If it were me i'd do this:
  • o/r mid pipe - prob go x pipe
  • catback exhaust - magnapacks
  • gears 4.10 (auto) 3.73 (5spd)
  • tuner (SCT) from American muscle. Then you got free tunes for life
  • Maxium Motorsports FLSFC's
  • H&R lowering Springs
  • your pick for shocks
  • Maxium Motorsports Camber plates

In that order.... just my 2 cents.

i'd skip the u/d pullies and a cai. Not worth it imo.

if you have plans for a blower int he near future honestly i'd wait. if its a kenne bell, you may not even want 410s or 373s. decide what kind of blower your going to get first.
