Fuel curves on the street, spark curves on the dyno work the best IMHO.

Thats good to know nick! Wouldnt the excess load on the streets cause some spark issues possibly?

I like my street tune the best. Ive had dyno and street tunes and my street one is BY FAR better.

I just do the dyno for the numbers now and just to see if i can get a FEW more ponies out of her.

So basically STREET TUNE FTW!

Any real tuner will tune on the dyno then take the car on the street. My tuner had my car for a week and put 20 miles on it. I think most of those were fun miles tho.

You run a lower spark advance when dialing in the fuel curves on the street, the dyno shows pretty good how far to take the spark. Usually there is a point where more power isn't made long before audible spark knock with these motors.

i only have experience with street tuning. I use my AEM wideband and sniper data logging software to record spark and fuel. What i ended up doing was asking around for what people were running there timing at with a pi swapped GT on the dyno and mimicked those numbers to my timing. I fie adjusted from there at the track using my trap speeds as my indirect power... Seems to work very well since I dont know many people running almost 105 (104.76) with stock pi heads, cams and intake (and missing bolt ons too)...

Well if you spin off the line your mph are going to be higher. Just saying, but none the less you run good times. My tuner tends to run the dyno tune first then datalog on the street to finalize everything.
