Boost reliability? turbo vs. supercharged

Thanks for all of your input guys! I didn't mean for this thread to be for solely my benefit, however, I will say, the Purp hasn't done jack sh*t to his car lately for nothing! Big things coming.
EDIT: Bitching about fighting my two recent speeding tickets is more of an insurance type thing, not a ticketed fine problem.

I don't think one is more reliable if they're both done correctly. That being said, with a turbo make sure if you start pushing that you have the valvesprings to handle it so you don't start floating valves, and get a decent wastegate so you don't overboost the engine.
