I thought about getting a WASR, either single stack and converting it to double stack(less chance of getting amg wobble doing it yourself), or an already converted double stack. But, im going to change everything on the gun anyways, so i might as well just start with a saiga.

Its going to be an expensive rifle when im done with it lol. NATO stock, TWS dust cover, trigger group, Midwest ind handguard... its gonna be a slick little black rifle

Got a new laptop yesterday, it's a lenovo. I'm pretty stoked about it. My last one had a fffed up hard drive. There was this sony that was completely touch screen. But it was way out of my budget. Plus Frys basically gave me an upgrade over my last laptop for free

The funny thing about a macbook.. iv had mine for a little over 4 years and it runs just as good as the day I bought it. you can not say that for many laptops out on the market. they are worth every penny.

My sister has had her Sony Vaio for 5 years now, I'd throw that into the mix as well for good reliable laptops. Speaking of Apple, my original Iphone is still putting along and working well, just not fast lol

I had a asus windows laptop for about 6 years that ran like a top. Nothing ever went wrong till i dropped it and the fan stopped working so i overheated it. It all depends on the brand and if you know how to take care of it. On the otherhand, my parents who dont know jack about computers and click on every sweepstakes ad they see, there computers run like crap, no matter what brand.

I totally agree with you, Hossy. $1200 was VERY expensive for a base model 13" screen that didn't really have much capabilities. I really only use it to mess around on the internet and for my music collection. In retrospect I'm so glad I didn't fall into the much cheaper gateways and HP's that had so much more to offer as far as hardware and capabilities. Now, having this computer that still holds a charge for a week and has never acquired any sort of 'bug' or 'virus' and still runs as if I bought it yesterday.......WELL worth the $1200 I spent!

Longevity is such a huge factor with laptops. I try to convince everyone I know who mentions that they want a new computer/laptop to get an Apple but they argue the price is too much.

Look at it this way. You pay $500 for a PC laptop with comparable capabilities. In 4 months you start to have problems keeping bugs out. You buy some stupid virus protection program/plan for $60. You constantly have to defrag, and clean your harddrive because of the crap that's acquired in your web browsing. 6 months later your battery no longer holds a charge. $100 later you're getting tired of the thing. It's far outdated and you're continually having issues with virus' until your stupid laptop wont even turn on anymore. Problem....after problem. And a year and a half into ownership of the PC you trade it in for a new one. Another $500+.

Do yourself a favor and buy the expensive one. You def get what you pay for.
