That's what I thought until I drove the new camaro for the third and final time. Now there is a mustang GT in my garage after one simple test drive.

I've driven both a hydraulic and cable clutch, you nerds just aren't good at driving cars :P

My roomates dad just bought and 07 Z06 Black 6-speed. Apparently, the previous owner did some mods, including cam work.....his dad hasn't driven a manual for 30 years and the combination of a loping engine plus the manual = killing the engine a lot!

Tough choice. I want to say Z06 but I know if I got it I'd secretly want a ZR1. Based on that its going to be the GT500 by a slight margin although I'd rather have a Boss.

why would i be driving a cobra or C6Z in heavy traffic in the first place? lol
DD FTW.

but yeah, i know how heavy these clutches are. im willing to bet mines heavier than yours too...

and LOL at people rather having a cobra than a Z.

Don't bother with the ZR1, it's nice, but not 100k+ nice

and for the record, I was about five minutes away from laying down 90k in cash when I was still workingl for a used Electric Blue ZR1, but didn't end up going through with it.

The ZR stock wasn't much faster, if at all than my car in race trim, and I liked the power band of my car better. I don't like that they went with the 6.2L or whatever the LS9 is instead of lowering the compression of the 427cid they use in the Z06.

I think eventually when I'm in a secure position, I'll buy a Z06 and throw some dished pistons and a turbo cam, and run a couple small turbos. That to me would be sex, far more than the ZR1

yeah, I wish I was still working there (Intel FWIW), but that was saved up over like three years.

Being a single kid with no expenses making 100+k a year FTGDMFW, lol. I regret leaving.
