I know our cars weigh a lot less but would you guys think this 5.0 Bullitt would be faster in a straight line than the 2011 5.0? Just curious

i would say so honestly. Lighter, normal gear ratios, etc. I mean have you read up on the retarded specs on the new 5.0's transmission?! 5th gear getting the 1:1?! Thats retarded as thats another shift you have to do to make it to the traps.

Good use of money: NO but Cool factor: YES.

I'd think it'd be faster. The New Edge platform is about 150-200 lbs lighter than the car it rides in (2011 GT)

And yes, it's a waste of money, but then again, aren't all V8 Mustang's waste of money? If that's the case, we all might as well buy base v6 versions of the Mustang

With e85, might as well run 14:1 and make some retarded N/A power.

I think its a pretty awesome swap. Not everyone does stuff to be the absolute fastest, maybe they did it for the cool factor? will it still run 12's? probably but havning a 5.0 in a bullitt would be COOL as hell!

Power steering isn't really a big deal unless trying to park in a tight spot in NYC but the powerbrakes will be a tough work around.
