a Deluxe is a package of the Mustang...can't remember what exactly was included on the deluxe package but there really was minimal difference. Maybe there was leather seats instead of cloth seats. Nothing to write home about.

Deluxe is the base model of trim...... Cloth seats pretty much define that trim level, whereas a premium has leather.

^Yup! A buddy of mine has one with black cloth seats and I think they are actually pretty cool.

I absolutley hate leather seats. There horrible in cold/hot weather alike and do not age well plus they are heavy.

I would also prefer cloth, when the driver's side leather finally let's go that's my plan...

Here's the '03 GT feature matrix from a sales brochure, I think the '01 configurations were similar (no Mach 1 of course):

Yeah, mine came with cloth, no traction control, and no ABS. From what i hear there wasn't too many made like that.

There were three model years in which ABS and t/c were options. In 2004 ABS including t/c was a $730 option. In 1999 and 2000 they were offered separately at $500 and $230 respectively--all other years had them as standard equipment.

Ya my car has cloth seats. Its much better then the leather. Im not just saying this because my car has cloth seats. I had a 2000 mustang gt before with leather seats. Would stay hot and make you sweaty in hot weather, and would get rock hard during the winter making them uncomfortable. Plus Im allergic to leather/ pleather.
